Trancoso, Villa 09

This villa is located on Itapororoca beach which is hidden away from Trancoso´s busy Quadrado (central square), making it a perfect peaceful haven. The sea is calm – ideal for leisurely tropical beach walks.   

The villa was designed by David Bastos (a renowned Brazilian architect). One of its most striking features is its pool which curves around the main living areas of the villa.  It is around this pool that you will start the day with a delicious Bahian breakfast. 

The villa is designed to connect with nature with its large doors and glass windows which open on to a lush tropical garden. Its location next to the sea ensures the house and gardens are freshened by the gentle sea breeze. The villa´s sophisticated beach like décor consists of shades of white interspersed with colour and locally crafted art objects. 

This is the ideal property for gathering a group of friends.  It has 7 en suite bedrooms – three of these are stand-alone bungalows for those who like total privacy.  It also has a spacious drawing room and a separate TV room. 

Trancoso, Villa 27

Villa 27 is located on the road linking the Quadrado (central square in Trancoso) to Coqueiros beach.  It is an oasis amidst the exuberant lush tropical vegetation…the ideal location for those who want to be near the trendy Quadrado restaurants and the beach, while also enjoying peace and quiet and total privacy with a gorgeous view of the sea. 

With its tasteful, understated décor, this is one of the most charming houses in Trancoso.  

Everything in the villa is in harmony: the sitting room opens on to a veranda which overlooks the pool. This is surrounded by comfortable cushions, creating an external seating area – the ideal location for watching the ever changing green shades of the sea. 

The 5 en-suite bedrooms are spacious, airy, comfortable and tastefully decorated.  It is hard to choose a favourite.

 

Trancoso, Villa 30

With a delicious swimming pool and a glass sauna, it’s one of those places made for spending whole days and nights under the starry sky.

Trancoso, Villa 37

Itapororoca beach, one of the most special beaches in Trancoso, hides some refuges that invite you to immerse yourself in the unpretentious atmosphere of Bahia. Among the good examples is a house on the sand with a delightful lawn at its center.

It is around this lawn that the season unfolds in a rhythm of sun, shade, and cool water. The pool, surrounded by forest, is one of those places made for spending the day. But when you feel like going to the sea, just a few steps along a path surrounded by nature will take you there.

Trancoso, Villa 44

Staying in this villa is like immersing yourself in nature. There is a lush tropical mangrove on one side of the property and on the other side a quiet beach.

The villa is bathed by constant sea breezes, making those lazy afternoons even more pleasant. The sea breeze freshens all areas of the house, especially the 25 metre pool which is surrounded by palm trees and the large terrace on the second floor – this is one of the most comfortable and homely areas of the house, with its hammocks, armchairs and coloured cushions.

The villa is ideal for a group of friends in search of peace and quiet in a location next to the beach with plenty of shade. It has comfortable social areas and the third en-suite bedroom is also in the annexe and is the perfect option for couples who want a little more privacy and peace and quiet.

And if you would like to experience some of Trancoso´s famous nightlife, the Quadrado is only 10 minutes away by car.

Trancoso, Villa 55

Located in the exclusive Altos de Trancoso Condominium, Villa 55 is a unique retreat that combines sophistication, comfort, and nature in perfect harmony.
