A house where you can arrive and forget about life outside. After all, who needs more when you are on a delightful beach in Bahia, Praia do Forte?
Within the Enseada do Castelo condominium, Villa 8 values integration with nature. The delightfully unpretentious project has five suites and, as a highlight, an outdoor area facing the pool. With a cozy atmosphere and décor with very Brazilian touches, it is one of those perfect places to rest.
A house that warmly welcomes friends looking for days of shade and fresh water, who can also count on the structure of a well-equipped condominium, with a club, restaurant, and sports courts. And if the idea is to also enjoy the vibrant scene of Salvador, it is only a few kilometers away.
A house designed for gathering friends, how about it? That’s Villa 12, which also has the advantage of being located within the Enseada do Castelo condominium, one of the most special in Praia do Forte.
With high ceilings and plenty of natural ventilation, the design is an invitation to celebrate. While the pool with hydromassage “embraces” every curve, the fully equipped gourmet area offers delicious moments around food and drinks with a touch of Bahia. To top it off, the décor mixes references from Carybé’s Candomblé, but also the urban and colorful proposal of artists such as Bel Borba.
And in addition to relying on the condominium’s superstructure, the more lively guests can also count on the convenience of being just a few kilometers from the parties and tours of Salvador.
If nature – and the sea breeze – are the protagonists of refuges in Bahia, this house in Praia do Forte knows how to make the most of them. Within the Enseado do Castelo condominium, Villa 14 focuses on a design that prioritizes spacious and integrated environments, in addition to natural lighting.
The kitchen, dining room, and gourmet area are connected so that lunches and dinners with friends or family can go on forever. In addition to a pizza oven, the space has two types of barbecue grills. Furthermore, it is an uncomplicated house with five suites and is good for children.
Whatever the group, everyone can enjoy the condominium’s facilities, which include a club with a swimming pool, restaurant, and sports courts. And, of course, the advantages of being in Praia do Forte, a destination that offers days of shade and cool water, but also the ease of a day trip for those seeking the excitement of Salvador.
If your idea of a perfect holiday is to stay in a villa by the sea, yet in a totally private location, then this is the ideal house for you.
The villa´s location is special: it sits on a stretch of beach in Santo André village, in the south of the state of Bahia. It is the perfect house from which to enjoy a relaxing holiday away from the stresses of the outside world.
It is a recent build and includes a main house with three chalets spread around the spacious grounds. It has a beach tennis court, for those who might like an active morning of sport and a fabulous pool for those who want to spend a relaxing afternoon reading or swimming. There is also an outdoor pizza area, ideal for al fresco dinners and star gazing on clear nights.
A stay at Villa 9, a gorgeous retreat, surrounded by the Atlantic Rainforest in the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro, feels like stepping back in time.
The setting includes a fully renovated mansion, dating back to 1750, the height of Brazil’s imperial period. Located in the Coffee Valley along the Paraíba River (in the state of Rio de Janeiro), rare artefacts can be found in every corner of the villa – such as the largest handmade rug by artisan Concessa Colasso and paintings by Debret.
The property offers a wide range of activities for all ages and interests, making it easy to forget the world outside. Highlights include a golf course, a swimming pool, and hiking trails.
Surrounded by imperial palms and impeccably maintained, the estate is also home to an award-winning cachaça which is exclusively exported, but generously shared with guests. Meals are cooked using fresh, homegrown vegetables from the villa’s garden and the talented chef prepares authentic and delicious local dishes.
Villa 10 takes you back in time to Brazil’s 19th century colonial past. This grand mansion is located on a farm that was an important sugar and coffee plantation from the 1800s onwards. The estate also has the second most important historic sugar mill in Brazil. Today, the farm breeds Mangalarga Marchador horses.
Every detail of this house is impressive and it is one of the most extraordinary rural properties in Brazil. It has been impeccably renovated, both externally and internally, and tastefully decorated with period furniture, carpets, rare porcelain objects and other period pieces.
The attractions are many and follow the tranquil rhythm of farm life: a swimming pool and barbecue area for sunny days, as well as a living room with a fireplace for cozier moments. All this on a plot of land surrounded by greenery as far as the eye can see in the Rio de Janeiro region of Paty do Alferes
Spending a season in our villa 23 is a special experience, the kind that transports you to another time. Located in Sousas, near Campinas, the property is an old coffee farm that has undergone an impeccable restoration.
The historic mansion has been well maintained and full of charm, but the grounds, surrounded by greenery as far as the eye can see, have been given an annex with a large leisure area and various attractions where you can literally forget about the hectic life going on outside.
All this without counting the many ways to explore the magical scenery that frames the horizon, at a slow travel pace, as a season in nature demands.
The inspiration for the construction of this villa was a rare vinyl by Dorival Caymmi – one of Brazil’s most influential singer-songwriters – recorded in the 1950s and cherished by the owners. But the moment you step inside, it all becomes clear: this collector’s gem has inspired a home filled with Brazilian soul and an irresistibly laid-back charm.
The beachfront location is a highlight: the villa sits on a beachfront plot in one of the most secluded corners of Praia dos Pinheiros, within a gated condominium, just a few kilometres from São Paulo. With the sea as the star of the setting, every part of the house has been thoughtfully designed to frame the view. Even the gourmet kitchen flows seamlessly into the living room. The tropical landscaping embraces the scenery without blocking the ocean views, despite the lush greenery.
And the local caiçara culture shines through in many of the decorative features – with light tones, paddles hung on the walls, and other seaside elements -which retain a cosy and comfortable feel.
From the five suites to the TV room, every space is delightful. Not to mention the outdoor area: there is a swimming pool, sauna, a pergola with hammocks, and a fire pit perfect for warm, fire-lit evenings. From beginning to end, this is the beach house of our dreams.
We are not exaggerating when we say that this is one of the most special villas in our portfolio…and arguably in the whole of Trancoso. It is located on Itapororoca beach and is a real oasis surrounded by lush green rainforest, with beautiful architecture and art.
Architect, Marcio Kogan from MK27 designed the villa on a raised wooden deck, with straight, simple lines throughout, with the purpose of highlighting the exuberance of the surrounding countryside. Every corner of this house is beautiful.
From the four en-suite bedrooms to the gym, to the clever use of natural light throughout the house, everything harmonizes beautifully with an impressive art collection and furniture made out of braúna wood.
The gardens which lead to the sea were designed by Isabel Duprat who used different shades of green throughout the garden. The gardens come to life at night with the clever use of lighting designed by Airton Pimenta.
The villa´s staff are always on hand and can prepare healthy food menus. This really is a place from which to escape and reconnect with nature.
