Sousas, Villa 23

Spending a season in our villa 23 is a special experience, the kind that transports you to another time. Located in Sousas, near Campinas, the property is an old coffee farm that has undergone an impeccable restoration.

The historic mansion has been well maintained and full of charm, but the grounds, surrounded by greenery as far as the eye can see, have been given an annex with a large leisure area and various attractions where you can literally forget about the hectic life going on outside.

All this without counting the many ways to explore the magical scenery that frames the horizon, at a slow travel pace, as a season in nature demands.

Taguaíba, Villa 21

The inspiration for the construction of this villa was a rare vinyl by Dorival Caymmi – one of Brazil’s most influential singer-songwriters – recorded in the 1950s and cherished by the owners. But the moment you step inside, it all becomes clear: this collector’s gem has inspired a home filled with Brazilian soul and an irresistibly laid-back charm.

The beachfront location is a highlight: the villa sits on a beachfront plot in one of the most secluded corners of Praia dos Pinheiros, within a gated condominium, just a few kilometres from São Paulo. With the sea as the star of the setting, every part of the house has been thoughtfully designed to frame the view. Even the gourmet kitchen flows seamlessly into the living room. The tropical landscaping embraces the scenery without blocking the ocean views, despite the lush greenery.

And the local caiçara culture shines through in many of the decorative features – with light tones, paddles hung on the walls, and other seaside elements -which retain a cosy and comfortable feel.

From the five suites to the TV room, every space is delightful. Not to mention the outdoor area: there is a swimming pool, sauna,  a pergola with hammocks, and a fire pit perfect for warm, fire-lit evenings. From beginning to end, this is the beach house of our dreams.

Trancoso Villa 11

We are not exaggerating when we say that this is one of the most special villas in our portfolio…and arguably in the whole of Trancoso. It is located on Itapororoca beach and is a real oasis surrounded by lush green rainforest, with beautiful architecture and art.

From the four en-suite bedrooms to the gym, to the clever use of natural light throughout the house, everything harmonizes beautifully with an impressive art collection and furniture made out of braúna wood.

The gardens which lead to the sea were designed by Isabel Duprat who used different shades of green throughout the garden. The gardens come to life at night with the clever use of lighting designed by Airton Pimenta.

The villa´s staff are always on hand and can prepare healthy food menus. This really is a place from which to escape and reconnect with nature.

A house made to receive. This was the wish of the owners of villa 71 when they conceived their refuge in a condominium in Trancoso. And it is exactly this cozy and delightful atmosphere that sets the tone for the season there.

Think of a fully integrated project, with rooms facing a delightful garden, the kind where you can spend hours and hours without rushing. This is also where the two swimming pools are located and guests can also take advantage of other leisure options – from the pool table to the gym.

And if a full house is synonymous with many moments around the table, the gourmet area follows suit: it has a parilla, barbecue and pizza oven, which can turn each meal into unique productions.
