The inspiration for the construction of this villa was a rare vinyl by Dorival Caymmi – one of Brazil’s most influential singer-songwriters – recorded in the 1950s and cherished by the owners. Villa 15 in Trancoso was born from the desire to create a unique and deeply Brazilian space on a paradisiacal plot of land by the sea, on Itapororoca Beach, just 20 minutes from the Quadrado.
Inspired by a village in the Xingu, the house has as its centerpiece a large oca, built by the indigenous people themselves. The decor is ethnic and authentic, with handcrafted pieces that enhance the large living room integrated with the garden and extend to each of the suites.
